The most common and the most dangerous cause of the flooding in the laundry room is a broken water fill hose for the washer. How to prevent it? First you have to inspect water fill hoses at least every three months. If they are rusted or you found bubbles on the hoses, they have to be replaced right away. Even if you did not find anything suspicious it is recommended by all manufacturers to replace them every five years.
