How to prevent a washer from overloading

June 3rd, 2007 · No Comments

Overloading of the washer machine usually causes a lot of problems, even if they are not visible at first glance. Just a few of the problems: clothes not washed properly which means wasting of your time and money (detergent, water, electricity); damage to delicates; excessive wear to the clothes and to the washer, etc. It is very easy to prevent all these hassle. I will give you a few suggestions on using your washer in the most efficient way with the maximum use of its capacity.
Mix large and small items to improve the wash quality and a balance of the load. If your clothes do not have a lot of soil, set the main wash for less than 10 minutes. Use about 1/2 to 3/4 of the detergent measuring spoon. Use the largest possible load (see bellow) to decrease the total amount of washes (less water, less energy, less detergent). For these suggested full-sized loads, set the LOAD SIZE selector to the highest load size setting.
